The Datalogic Skorpio X5 is an ultra rugged mobile computer that is suitable for the toughest applications and most challenging environments such as industry, logistics, distribution centers, warehouse and shops. Nevertheless, the Skorpio X5 is a lightweight all-rounder and has an extensive choice of scan engines for 1D & 2D barcodes, from Standard Range to Extra Long Range. The clear touchscreen display of no less than 10.9 cm (4.3 inch) makes it perfectly possible to use the Skorpio X5 also outdoors.
The 2D Mid-Range Extra Performance Imager reads all common 1D and 2D barcodes both from paper and from a screen. The Mid-Range barcode scanner has a somewhat larger scan range than the Standard Range, making it easy to scan the top shelf of the warehouse or shop rack. This barcode scanner is equipped with a 4-dot Aimer with laser cross and projects a "Green Spot" on the just scanned barcode after a good read.
